Our Team

Clifton Dirk King, RRT, RN, MSN, CRNA

Dirk King is a registered respiratory therapist, board-certified registered nurse, and certified registered nurse anesthetist. He attended Old Dominion University where he obtained his Master of Science in nurse anesthesia and received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in science from Texas State University. Dirk currently practices as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in Texas.

Jennifer Wood, MSN, AGPCNP-C, WHNP-BC

Jennifer has been a registered nurse for 13 years. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 2009 with her bachelor’s degree and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017 with a dual certification in adult-gerontology and women’s health. She is a member of both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the NCC for women’s health. Jennifer is passionate about wellness and aesthetics and has been trained extensively in order to provide the best care to our clients here at C&D Medical Aesthetics. Jennifer offers a wide array of services such as; botox, dermal fillers, micro needling, trigger point and joint injections, laser skin resurfacing, medical weight loss and much more. Joi Ivie, MSN, FNP

Joyce Ivie has been a registered nurse for over 14 years. She graduated from Central Texas College in 2008 with her associate degree in nursing. She continued her education and obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Joyce then went on to graduate from the Chamberlain college of Nursing in 2016 with her Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Joyce is passionate about health, wellness and aesthetics and has been trained extensively to provide the best care to our clients here at C&D Medical Aesthetics. Joyce offers a wide array of experience in Family practice, Emergency Medicine, Nephrology and Wound care. Kelsey Shelley, FNP

Kelsey Shelley is a Registered Nurse and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. With
almost five years of experience in emergency services, Kelsey brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care. She obtained her RN diploma from Covenant School of Nursing in 2020, followed by a BSN from Texas Tech University in 2021. She then completed her MSN at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2024.

In addition to her bedside nursing background, she is passionate about her role in healthcare and offers services in medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, botox injections, and a variety of other aesthetic procedures. Her broad skill set and commitment to helping patients achieve both health and wellness make her a valuable asset to the team.

Alice Patton C&D Medical Aesthetics Waco

Alice Patton, APRN, FNP-C

Alice Patton, APRN, FNP-C has been a registered nurse for more than 10 years and is currently practicing as a nurse practitioner. She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2012 as a registered nurse and then went on to graduate from UT Arlington in 2020 with a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of American Nurses Association as well as a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Alice has trained extensively with C&D Medical Aesthetics and works continuously to learn the best practices for her clients. Alice offers appointments for medical weight loss, joint injections, trigger point injections, as well as regenerative and aesthetic procedures.

Amber Griffith, BSN, RN

As a Belton native with 4 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine, Amber is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State University (2011) and recently obtained her B.S.N. from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (2019). She is an Elite Nurse Practitioner with IV infusion and injectable certification (2020) and have received additional training as a professional nurse injector (botox & filler) from the Texas Laser Institute (2021). Currently, she is pending my APRN certification from the University of Texas Arlington.

Amber is passionate about healthcare and strives to stay at the forefront of her field through ongoing education and training.

Shelby Posten, ACNP-BC

Shelby Posten is a highly experienced nurse with a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care, now bringing her clinical expertise and patient-centered approach to the field of medical aesthetics.

She is completing dual certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is working towards her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Shelby’s background and education uniquely position her to deliver safe, effective, and customized aesthetic treatments. Whether helping clients feel more confident through injectables or supporting them with personalized weight loss or hormone replacement care plans, Shelby brings the same commitment to detail and dedication to outcomes that have defined her nursing career.

Gisselle Castaneda, Facility Manager

Gisselle is a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant with over six years of hands-on experience in patient care and administrative support. She currently excels at C&D Medical Aesthetics in Waco, where she contributes to both clinical and operational functions.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gisselle effectively bridges communication gaps, enhancing patient experiences across diverse backgrounds.

In addition to her medical expertise, she is a seasoned Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor with extensive experience in helping medical students maintain their medical first responder licenses. Her dedication to education and training ensures that healthcare professionals remain well-equipped with essential life saving skills.

Stephanie Soto, Facility Manager

As a Dedicated Medical Assistant, Stephanie is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. With her invested experience in both the Dermatology and Family Practice fields, she has a wide array of patient and procedure interactions.

Zoe Tharp, MA

Zoe’s goal at C&D Medical Spa is simple — to help every client feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. With her warm smile and caring personality, she’s there to guide you through your visit, answer your questions, and make sure you feel at ease every step of the way.
